Moving back to NJ, Looking for Rec
I’m moving back to NJ to be closer to my parents as they get older. I’m a single 43m. I don’t drink so not worried about driving for nights out. Also work remote so no need to commute except for leisure. Haven’t lived there in over 20 years, so I don’t really remember much. Looking for something with a nice uptown near restaurants. Will be looking to rent, not buy if anyone knows any good buildings as well. Budget will be up to $4k/mth for a 2br though I’d like it to be closer to $3.5k. Parents are in Oradell. Have been told as a single person my age JC, Montclair, Ridgewood. Any suggestions would be great. Happy to give other details as well.
Edit: thanks everyone for the advice. Lots of locations to check out. Appreciate it!
