Synesthesia help?
So I've been wondering this for a while
I seem to have weird cross connections with things which is obviously what synesthesia is but I have some trouble believing If synesthesia is even real
I've always had connections between certain notes music sounds or textures in music that can trigger really strong images, colors, moving images (almost like movies) always associating to the note or chords or sounds I just
heard
I've even tried to test consistency since that's what they say is the biggest telling factor and it stays the same if some chord or part of a song was a certain shade of orange it'll stay like that and now I associate that part of that song with that with the color forever staying the same
It goes over to even concept ideas hearing sounds can give me whole concepts of either movies,shows, made up images etc
Even triggering really strong intense emotions when im not paying attention or even wanting to like randomly
crying when i hear a certain chord that was already associated with something
It's like my brain just cries idk
I have no idea what it could be besides this was just wondering if anyone had some insight on this I would really appreciate it.
