I really need advice. At my school, I have an extra learning time called “win,” and last Wednesday I was supposed to go to a win dedicated to musical practice. At the last minute, it got cancelled. Everyone who had assigned that win said they either had no win or were scheduled to go to the gym (which is basically free time) my friends suggested we just wait in her car until the win time was over while we were in her car, I checked my RTI scheduler assuming I would see that I was assigned a win that was for pe. Still, then I saw it was my geometry class but it was too late to go to it. I checked my PowerSchool, and now I have 2 zeros for tests I was absent from, and she put a note under it that the grade will remain because I was a no-show at her win. I want to tell her I just went to the gym because that seems like I really wasn’t trying to skip on purpose but we have cameras all over the school, and I'm scared she would be petty enough to ask administrators to check the cameras from that day to see if I left school or if I was in the gym. What do I do? I can’t let the zero rest i have a 65 because of those 2 zeros now, which is a failing grade at my school, and school ends in a few weeks i cant fail this class. What do I tell her? Should I email her tommorow morning or confront it in person?
