I'm confused with international travel&cruise insurance...

I'm from the US and will take a trip to the UK and Iceland next month. The UK part is on land. The Iceland part is on a cruise and a couple of extra days on land to explore Iceland more. So the whole trip involves everything like flights, hotels, cruise, tours etc. I'm researching travel insurance to buy but so confused. Should I buy separate cruise and international travel insurances? Or many suggest there is a whole/comprehensive travel insurance (like the Faye's AI assistant and Google). Yet, I can't seem to find the so called whole/comprehensive plan. Is it just international travel insurance? BTW, my cruise was booked through Costco and they offer a cruise insurance through their partner as well. It is not clear if I extend the date the insurance will cover the land part in the UK etc. Now, I just don't know what to buy :( I'd appreciate any experience sharing before I had to call different insurance agents to find out :)
