More info here: https://staccato.ai/

A walkthru: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV3bIJ_Nswk

I find myself really intrigued by this. I consider this more of a tool for ideas than generative AI since it doesn't produce any audio. Your DAW produces the audio from the MIDI this tool generates. I can still edit the MIDI to control what the music will be. Thoughts, anyone?

Pettinhouse AcousticGuitar 4.0 intro price $49

https://www.pettinhouse.com/html/acousticguitar-4-presale.html

You also get version 3.0 NOW. Version 4.0 will arrive July 6.

It doesn't say, but I assume the $49 intro price also ends on July 6th. Normal price will then be $99.

This seems to have all the basics covered: upstrokes, downstrokes, slides, hammer-on/pull-off, harmonics, palm mutes, fingerstyle or pick modes, and adjustable playing noises.

Hearing the previews, it sounds a little too bright to me (just like most of the other virtual guitars out there). I'd have to tame it down a little to add some warmth for solo work. For background strumming support, it should be good. Especially for $49. I'll probably get it.
