Feedback on my PPL routine? 26M, 161 cm (5'3") / 59 kg (130 lbs)
Hey everyone!
I’m 26M, 161 cm (5'3") and around 59 kg (130 lbs). I’m currently running a PPL routine with one rest day between each workout, so the rotation is basically:
Push → Rest → Pull → Rest → Legs → Rest → repeat
Each workout takes me around 25–35 minutes, usually with about 90 seconds of rest between sets.
On the rest days, I’m also planning to do around 10–15 km on a stationary bike, usually at roughly 26–28 km/h. I’d keep this as relatively moderate cardio rather than treating it like another hard workout.
Push
- Barbell Bench Press – 3×15
- Incline Dumbbell Bench Press – 2x12
- Butterfly/Pec Deck – 3×12
- Dumbbell Triceps Extension – 3×15
- Dumbbell Lateral Raise – 1x20
Pull
- Lat Pulldown – 3×12
- Barbell Bent-Over Row – 3×8
- Dumbbell Hammer Curl – 3×12
- Dumbbell Rear Delt Reverse Fly – 2×12
Legs + Core
- Barbell Squat – 3×10
- Barbell Romanian Deadlift – 3×10
- Dumbbell Glute Bridge – 2×12
- Leg Extension – 3×15
- Standing Dumbbell Calf Raise – 3x20
- Plank – 2–3 sets
- Lying Leg Raise – 3×12
My main goal is to stay relatively lean, lose some body fat and build a moderate amount of muscle rather than trying to get as big as possible. I’m also not particularly interested in developing very broad shoulders/traps, which is why I’ve kept direct shoulder work fairly low.
Does this look balanced enough for my goals? Is there anything you would add, remove or change in terms of exercises, volume, frequency or the cardio on rest days?
Any feedback is appreciated!
