Offer letter says Starbucks barista
This morning I got an email from someone in HR saying I was offered a job and to schedule for my first day. After I scheduled, she sent the offer letter and thats when I learned my position was a Starbucks barista which I’m not the happiest about.
For context, I worked at Panera for 2 years and wanted to cut ties with food service. I applied for GM and food (I know Starbuck falls under this) but I had made sure not to select Starbucks barista when it asked what roles I wanted to be considered for if my first choice wasn’t available.
I sent an email to her asking about the possibility of being considered for another position but what are the chances of that? I haven’t accepted the offer yet so should I just call it a loss? Thanks for any advice
