I’m hanging floating shelves in my new apartment and I’ve run into a problem with my toggle anchors. They anchors won’t go in anymore no matter how hard I try, and I read forcing them in isn’t a good idea either. There’s no stud, but there must be something in there. I’ve hung these shelves in my old apartment and didn’t have an issue, but does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?
These anchors are 2.5in long, so I’m wondering if getting shorter ones would work or a different type of anchor? Hoping someone can help thank you!
