Hi! Wanting to take my partner on a romantic 2 day anniversary trip somewhere driving distance from Denver. It would be a Sunday Monday in late September!
We like the outdoors but are not looking for anything camping/glamping related, she is from the east coast and prefers a hotel to a cabin lol.
Have you been on a day trip you loved recently? We would love some suggestions! We normally do Blackhawk or Fort Collins but looking to branch out. Have googled and searched this sub already but haven’t found quite what we are looking for!

Weds-
Drive to Farajarfo
Check into beachfront accommodation
Relax on beach
Bioluminescent kayaking

Thursday-farajado
Boat charter to island
Romantic island dinner

Friday-
Drive back to San Juan
Check into weekend accommodations
Check out restaurant and cocktail bar scene

Saturday- San Juan
Morning- Snorkeling excursion
Evening- explore SJ nightlife

Sunday- final day
Shopping, relax on beach, no plans

Monday-depart

About us- newlyweds in our early 30s, active, vegetarian, love the beach & adventure excursions. Had a really rough year and would like to treat ourselves, but working with a 4,000USD budget. Looking for all kinds of feedback and recommendations! TIA
