Pets or livestock

Do most folks in this subreddit keep geese as pets or as livestock? I ask because I really like the fact that geese are graders, but they seem to bond strongly with their mates, so wouldn't harvesting them traumatize their mates. The flock?

Democrats call on Platner to step down as he denies sexual assault allegation

I'm not from Maine, but this pattern of Democrats using sexual allegations to take out the competition never works out well for the party or the people. What ever happened to due process? If the dude says he didn't do it, then let the process do it's thing and let's move on. If she just wants to throw a monkey wrench in the gears, but has no actual actionable complaint, then what are we talking about here?

I.D. Paradigm Titan Speakers

I could only post one photo, so I chose the back. The front looks pretty typical. It's not very big: 13" tall by 9" deep and almost 8" wide. I'll probably need to do something repair at some, so knowing the details might be helpful. Thanks.

Cats are the best pets.

It's not a question, just a simple statement. At least for us City dwellers, it's just a fact. If you don't need an animal for a specific job or purpose, these guys are great! It always surprises that an animal that is essentially wild fits so well into our lives. Most cats are so closely related to their wild ancestors that it's not quite right to call them domestic.

Dogs are wonderfully affectionate, but enforcing boundaries can be such a chore. A cat knows just how close to be, and lets you know when you're being too clingy. A cat sits on your lap and it is a privilege. One almost feels decadent to relax a bit with a friendly cat.

The guy in the photo is technically, my son's cat. He's about 10 months. He's been keeping me company today. He's intact--we live high up in an apartment building, so he can't take off on his own. He's very healthy, and he has never sprayed. It was a concern, but so far, so good. He was from a feral litter in a friend's backyard.
