I’m travelling to the Czech Republic for the first time since being diagnosed with celiac disease. An issue I have in my home country is that restaurants have gluten free menus, but often the food is prepared and cooked alongside gluten containing food and therefore it isn’t actually safe to eat. Is it the same in the Czech Republic?
Edit: just to clarify, I of course don’t expect everywhere to have a dedicated GF kitchen. In the UK GF certified places still have shared kitchens but have a section just for the prep of GF food, and dedicated oven/fryers etc. I know that not everyone reacts to cross contamination sadly I do, but regardless, if cross contamination means the meal has more than 20ppm then the food isn’t technically gluten free at that point hence why it can be frustrating
