Like seriously, I want to go point a to point b without crashing my ship on a random iceberg or a wrecked ship. It feels like every time I sail there's always a fog 24/7. Not to mention most people have their graphics bar lowered to removing lag, but that includes the render distance. Clear sight barely makes a difference especially to rain (unless it's perfect). Immersion is nice but too much is annoying 👁️👄👁️
