Monarch Caterpillars Keep Dying
I live in San Diego and this is the second year I have tried a milkweed garden. Narrow leaf milkweed is what I found recommended for our region. Last year there were a ton of caterpillars and none made it to chrysalis. Two attached to a wall but then died. In all instances, no matter how big or small, it was the same situation. They were thriving one minute and then suddenly seemed to shrivel up from the inside. What can I do to help them survive?
