Hi everybody.

I want to get your opinion on a thing happening in my company.

I’m currently on TN status until late 2028. I won the h1b lottery FY2025, but my attorneys won’t be moving me until my company says so.

According to my company, they will wait for my h1b renewal for starting any green card process. But my attorneys mentioned once that they may want to start the process right away because of wait times in the process being long.

So, what do you think would be better? Do you think my attorneys may discourage the company to follow this path?
