For the last 2 months I’ve been having issues with my face around my mouth, nose, and eyes.
at first my skin had cracks so deep and latge, my face looked like a desert.constantly swollen, nothing OTC worked.
2 weeks after, my hair folicles got extremely inflamed. I would try to pluck them because it was so painful but I got so much relief getting them out. I couldn’t even slightly touch them without screaming in panic water hit my face and I was crying for 20 mins. was prescribed a steroid cream, did nothing. polypsorn worked for. about, until it didn’t. I figured it was fungal, started those treatments, worked a tiny bit, but never did much.
fast forward to about a month in. I went on a research binge and I thought forsure it was a bacterial foliculitis and not fungal, so I switched back. No dice.
so I had another drs appt about 2 weeks ago and she said that she thinks I may have Serrohbic dermatitis prescribed me an ointment that burned my skin raw and it was so painful I stopped after the first use.
currently two months in now and I noticed I started getting these massive pimples like huge I’ve never had them in my life on my cheeks close to my ears on both sides. my eyes keep swelling and won’t go away this has been a thing since it started.
so I’ve been doing so much research and I am wondering if it’s perioal dermatitis. I have uploaded photos from where it started to where I am at now.
my skin has been in a state where it will not heal no matter what I use or don’t use. fungal treatments seem to work, Nizoral shampoo seems to work really well as well. But then I tried an eczema hand cream from SKINFIX on the bad areas, and it seems to be ok but my pores are clogging constantly to the point they swell and won’t unclog in this area. It got painful for awhile. I tried absolutely everything. their not so bad now, but I have been getting these net like hyperpigmentation looking cracks that are kinda raised but not, but they are darker purple/brownish in colour they go away when my face starts to heal but only lasts a day or two and comes back.
at this point I’m at a loss and feel hopeless I’ve always had clear perfect skin and this last 2 months have been hell. I’ve had different thoughts from drs, waiting for a derm appt, I have spent probably 2 grand on different skin products from Sephora to Drug store, simplying routine, to onclussive fungal treatments bacterial treatments not using anything I have DONE EVERYTHING.
i have been on tret for over a year no issues my skin has always been able to use about any product with no issues.
for a year until this happened I used tret and moisturizer at night, morning was dr Dennis universal peel and his elcctrolyte complex moisturizer. if my skin was a bit dry I’d use LRP soothing toner.
my skin has peeled raw from actives before from going haywire because im a moron sometimes but that’s my own doing.
I have tried so many different products with different ingrients have stopped actives for now. I am wondering if it’s possible fungal acne I just did another Sephora haul for FA safe very basic routine. cleaner, innisfree moisturizer and that’s it.
I am just praying someone has some insight HELP ME BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND SECOND LAST PHOTO IS CURRENT. THESE ARE SOME PHOTOS OVER THE LAST NEARLY 3 MONTHS
