I left my job 3 weeks ago to emigrate abroad long term. On revenue it still shows my employment as being active. I was hoping on doing split year treatment as I’m abroad right now.

However my previous employer made an error on my final payslip meaning more money is still owed, which is looking like I won’t get it until end of May. I’m a little bit confused on how this final payslip will look, as it’s money owed from the previous month.

So I’m not sure if I should manually change my “active”employment to say ceased in order to do split year treatment? Or will I have to wait until the end of May to do so after receiving my new final payslip?
