Concealed Carry after Bilateral Robotic Inguinal Surgery

Know my intended audience is going to be small, but figure I’ll try. I’m an avid shooter and licensed concealed carry. Was wondering if there’s anyone out there who’s had this surgery and in similiar position and what they did/use for CC and how long after? I’m 4 days out post surgery and so sore in my lower right and left quadrants right where my IWB holster would sit. I know I’ll probably need to use an OWB holster for a while, but trying to see if anyone may have gone through this and if you have any tips/progress stories? Just throwing it out there….

Bilateral inguinal hernia (reducible) surgery by robotic assist on 63 yo fit man. Really up to 3 hours long?

That’s what I understand from my doc. Not ashamed to say I’m more than nervous about this whole ordeal after diving into this forum and reading about all the issues—especially nerve damage, testicular issues, severe constipation causing issues. From any of your experiences, was the surgery that long for uncomplicated reducible hernias and was the road to recovery really as f&$€ed up as a lot of these past posts say? I’m in the US, major city, using a respected surgeon.

Just hoping to benefit from people who were in this same situation and just as nervous.

Any help/advice/insight would be GREATLY appreciated.
