No disassociation with Spravato?
I started Spravato this week at the 56? mg which is 4 sprays total out of 2 bottles.
The first time I took it, I felt super "drugged" but aware of my surroundings. Akin to being drunk. Mostly numb extremities and some euphoria and generally pain free. No dissociation or halogenic experience whatsoever. My mind was clear and noisy as it is normally.
My second experience was generally the same but much less intense. I could have functioned as normal but a little groggy/tipsy feeling.
The provider wants to increase the dose to the maximum 80ish mg? next week. Has anyone experienced something similar? Did the increased dosage make a difference?
Im sorta bummed. I had been waiting to finally start ketamine treatment for months and expected so much more and was let down I guess. Its been about 4 days and absolutely no change whatsoever. Its a last resort at this point. Antidepressants stopped helping years ago and I've tried so many that I've lost track.
I've read conflicting things about the effects of spravato. Some claim that the disassociation is what helps depression, anxiety and other PTSD symptoms, while others claim that what happens during the session matters very little and it will help you either way.
