[Crew Motorfest TrackForge] Looking for serious feedback on my 20-minute endurance track, "APEX ASCENSION" (GT3/GT2 focus)
Hey Motorfest Crew!
I’ve spent the whole evening grinding in TrackForge to build a massive mental endurance test for GT3/GT2 cars. I wanted to create something that completely drains your focus and punishes you the second you get lazy.
It’s called "APEX ASCENSION." It’s a 3-lap marathon that takes about 20 minutes to finish.
The Anatomy of the Track:
- The Ascent: You start by hitting massive, steep uphill ocean bridges. These are designed to make your car feel incredibly "wobbly" and weightless right as you clear the crests. You have to feather the throttle perfectly or you'll lose the chassis before the next section.
- The Drop-Zone: A steep mountain descent that plunges straight down into flat, tight chicanes. The physics of transitioning from a heavy downhill drop to a sudden flat turn is incredibly tricky—break a fraction of a second too late and you are completely bypassing the track.
- The Needle: Scattered throughout the layout, I’ve made several key curves incredibly narrow. Entering these "skinny" corridors requires millimeter-perfect precision, especially the ones placed right after a big downhill.
- The Finale ("The Knot"): The final sector before the finish line is a tight, self-overlapping loop complex. By the time you get here, mental fatigue starts setting in. I noticed myself losing focus right at the end of the lap, and this section will punish you immediately for it.
The Benchmark: I clocked a 20:13.179 over 3 laps using the Audi R8 LMS GT2. By the third lap, my hands were sweating.
I need your honest, raw feedback:
- The "Wobble": Does the cresting sensation on the bridges feel like a legitimate skill check?
- The Precision: Are the "skinny" curves too narrow for a GT3 car, or does the tighter layout add the right amount of pressure?
- The Final Knot: Did you manage to keep your focus together at the end of the lap, or did the final sector catch you out?
