This guy on my flowering mint

Will these guys go away on their own or will I have to hit them with bug killer?

Found them today in a bucket of pinecones. I sprayed it with water from a distance and knocked it over, but they're still swarming a few hours later.

There's only a few. Should I leave them in the hope they'll make more little chanterelle babies?
