is playmakers.co a good indie game publisher to work with?
hi, in 2024 me and my team shipped a small, free friendslop on steam with 400 mostly positive reviews.
this week playmakers.co reached out to us offering $100k in marketing in exchange for 50-50 profit share, and ip "jointly owned IP", for a new game developed in 6-9 months.
we're a little hesitant but feel like this could be a good step for us, especially given the short development cycle and the large marketing budget.
has anyone worked with them before? is the offer any good?
