I have four allium (allia?). All of them had a large bud that looked like it was going to shoot up but three just shriveled up. (The damage on the leaves came from a late frost.) This happens every year. What is the problem?
PS. A number of years ago I discovered a volunteer sedum that must have come from a pot somewhere. I’m just letting it take over as ground cover. It has beautiful yellow flower stalks and the bees go crazy over it. Except last year there wasn’t a bee to be seen.
