Moved into a new bungalow house that I thought was a good deal but now I'm going insane with all the little things that have gone wrong (cockroaches, mice, leaks, etc....)

I'm bringing it up because I saw that bugs and rodents can affect the wiring of certain things--not sure if it'll affect smoke alarms?

But last week, the smoke alarm went off in my office room twice(24h apart) and then it went off in my bedroom a day later, and last night it went off in my hallway.

Could it be something as simple as a battery replacement? Would it affect all smoke alarms separately like that?
