Curious of everyone’s thoughts on a club keeping a manager vs firing after one unsuccessful season.

I feel like in the last many years it’s almost been expected to hit playoffs and if you don’t then the coach is fired and they bring a new one.
Portland seems to be the team that comes to mind most recently letting Rob Gale go after only be head coach for 1.5 seasons. Same for Becki Tweed.
Personally I feel the clubs are putting too much pressure in on such a short time to see results.
This inquiry comes from the fact Utah was bottom for the last 2 seasons (I’m a Utah fan so I’m very aware of the injury reasons and such) but Jimmy was kept and now we are seeing results. I feel like it takes time for a coach to learn the style of play, communication style, and chemistry of every player and there isn’t going to be obvious success most of the time.
