Makita DLS211
I recently bought a Makita DLS211 and I’m trying to dial in the accuracy.
When the saw is kept close to the fence, cuts are perfectly square.
But as soon as I pull the head forward on the rails for a wider cut, the angle starts drifting.
I measured about 1.5 mm of deviation over the cut, which seems pretty huge for a saw in this price range.
I already checked the fence alignment, and the issue only appears when the saw is extended on the sliders.
Has anyone experienced this with the DLS211?
Is this usually caused by rail alignment, play in the carriage/head, or something else that can be calibrated?
Or does this sound like a warranty issue?
