Magandang araw po sa mga kapwa ko pong medical students. Alam ko po na ang subreddit na ito ay madalas na ginagamit lamang para sa mga academic concerns o advice ukol sa medicine. Ngunit hindi ko na po matiis na manahimik pa. In light ng issue ng Cornell 7 kung saan nananahimik at binibigyan proteksyon ng isang kolehiyo ang mga sexual predators, sa Pilipinas naman ay may nababalitaan akong medical school na hinayaan magenroll ang isang sexual predator dahil lamang kakilala ng mga doktor ang mga magulang niya. Papaano ninyo po natitiis na hayaan ang mga estudyante na matuto sa presensya ng isang tao na maari silang hamakin. Hindi po ako maglalatag ng pangalan ngunit kung nais niyo po tumulong na magraise po ng awareness tungkol dito ay maari po kayo maginteract o magcomment po ng inyong mga nalalaman na detalye o karanasan.

Hello anyone here experienced withdrawing from UERM close to the start of classes. Is it normal for them to be slower in getting back to me? And would an email suffice or do they expect like a seperate letter attached to my email. Though my email already contains my actual letter.

Hi so Im an incoming medical school student this school year. I got into a medical school na, UERM but of course as everyone knows, they do accept multiple students per year but will not hesitate to kick you out if you fail. I had one failed grade in my undergraduate year, graduating with no latin honors but a relatively competitive GWA and an 89 NMAT PR. Despite already passing this school, my parents are hesitant to let me study there despite nearly finishing the enrollment process because of potential failure (based on my performance in my undergraduate studies). With this, they are encouraging me to study in another school, MCU specifically which they say I will have an easier time with (many of their doctor peers suggest this school but they are older so idk if their opinion is still reflective).

As of now my heart is still with proceeding to UERM despite the fear of its cutthroat system because of my familiarity with the community also a lot of the MCU reviews im seeing are pretty outdated? or Im just not seeing it but yes please feel free to share your opinions or experiences in MCU if you have any, I highly appreciate it.

Hi so I ultimately decided to just buy my own makeup so I have better control over what I look like on my grad day. And while im doing that I don’t wanna go too overboard with what I buy and just thinking about which products will make a huge difference in pictures. So first Im considering is a good foundation.

Other makeup that I plan on buying too instead but still don know which is a good brand to pick is (not im between Olive(?) Warm tone)
