Question to my law people

I completed my first year of LLB and BA last year, completing contracts and foundations.

Unfortunately, this semester, i was going through some mental problems which caused me to take the semester off, so i didnt do crim 1. Next sem i plan to come back; Crim 2 is next sem. I didnt do crim 1 and it’s a prerequisite, so i cant do it.

I do want to make progress in my law degree. My question is, thus, how important is it to follow the LLB progression structure? Does the structure suggests a gradual increase in difficulty each year or implied required knowledge? The only law unit i could possibly take next sem is the 3rd year ‘public law and statutory interpretation’. However, because it’s in the 3rd year section, im afraid it might be too difficult or too unprepared.

I also dont want to destroy my WAM by taking a unit that i shouldnt.
