Acquisition of old documents
My original pediatric neurologist permanently closed down back in 2020, and ofc my parents lost the documents so never really transferred to my new neurologist when I finally went to a new one back in 2024, but after contacting the DO board, I finally acquired the location of documents of original neurologist (since yk still required to be kept somewhere if under 23 here) and will be able to pick it up on at least Monday. 🥳
The good news about it is that they might contain information about my initial seizure type that involved movement which stopped happening by the time I moved to new neurologist (absence seizures decided to stick around though smh). The not so great news is that they’ll charge $0.60 (legal limit in state) per page and I hear that medical documents usually have a lot of pages so that’s gonna be “nice”.
