We wrapped up our 4/15 tax deadline a little over a week ago. I was looking forward to quieter evenings and weekends, except I was pulled onto more work with 4/30 deadline. My other teams are already gearing up tax return prep for the summer compliance busy season.

What is the fastest way to pivot out of public? The idea of being stuck at a job I can’t endure and being unable to carve a path out is burning me out.
