My high-school is filled with Bradford pear trees. I live in a heavily wooded area that Is usually filled with animals, plenty of native trees around. My school is the only one that, instead, has about six Bradford pears. They smell, the entire school always always stinks when they flower, and I know these trees are invasive in my area.

I live in SoCal, in the Orange County area. Im wondering if theres anything I can do to get them to remove these trees? Is there any place I can report that isnt the school? (The school hasnt listened to any complaints about them, so contacting them is useless.)

I'm worried because I live in a very wooded area with great soil. I dont want it to spread into the woods here. What are my options? Is this reasonable to even report? Will anything be done?

TL;DR: Bradford Pear trees in my high school (So-Cal). School refuses to take them down. What are my options? If I report, will anything be done?
