Tips for how to study for th AC-HPAT test for a returning adult student?
Hi! I'm a 32(F), turning 33(F) this fall and I was thinking of perhaps returning to school for a more specialized education to increase my income potential. I was looking into courses such as Dental Hygienist or Medical Radiology Technician. I have an interest in healthcare and I'm currently working in medical office administration full time at a private clinic. However, I looking to earn more than I currently am and both aforementioned programs can get me into careers that will let me earn more than what I currently make.
I looked at the eligibility criteria and noticed that I need to take an AC-HPAT test in order to determine my eligibility in these competitive programs. However, it's been 15 years since I was last in high school and I'm wondering how can I even go about studying for this test? It's stressing me out because I don't even know where to start! Anyone who was in a similar situation to me have any advice? Is there a website or learning program where I can "re-learn" what I need to know to ace these tests? It's mainly the Science portion that is making me nervous.
