Is it worth upgrading from an Ender 3 V3 KE to a Bambu Lab A1 Combo?
Post:
Hey everyone,
I currently own a Creality Ender 3 V3 KE and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The print speed is already quite good, and I mostly print smaller things with PLA.
Lately I’ve been thinking about upgrading to a Bambu Lab A1 Combo mainly because:
- it seems much more user friendly
- less tweaking/calibration
- automatic filament changing
- multi-color printing with the AMS Lite
- more “it just works” experience
At the same time, I know my Ender is already pretty fast, so I’m wondering if the upgrade would actually feel worth it in daily use.
I also don’t print huge models very often because filament costs add up quickly for me.
For people who made a similar switch:
- Did it feel like a big upgrade?
- Is the AMS Lite actually useful long term?
- Did you end up printing more because it was easier?
- Or is it not worth upgrading if the Ender 3 V3 KE already works well?
Would love to hear honest opinions from people who have used both 🙂
