Setting gains: Stupid question and it's something that I should already know....
What is the best, most efficient way to set the gains with a mixer and powered speaker?
For example, last night, I had a couple of laptops running through a mixer and into an Everse 12. To get the volume that I wanted, I turned the laptops all the way up, the individual channels' volume to halfway and the master volume to 3-4. Would it be better to lower the channel and/or device volumes down and increase the master volume?
Explain it to me like I'm four because I'm super dumb.
