Honda Stan...should I consider Kia Carnival?

I'm 54 years old and have exclusively owned Hondas. I'm a CRV fan but I am considering a mini van option to make transporting my elderly parents easier. They struggle with entering and exiting the back seat, so I'm looking for an alternative that will better accommodate them. My concerns are longevity - I've had a Civic and 2 CRV's my whole life - they last forever! Will I regret the KIA? I've seen good reviews online but wanted this sub's perspective. Why am I not considering the Odyssey? I don't want to make it obvious to my proud parents that I'm getting a mini van for them and this looks more like a SUV.
