Done Correctly
Hi, so I've set up a bioactive terrarium, and I just want to make sure I have everything set up correctly. My substrait is a mix of topsoil, playsand, sphagnum moss, and coco coir. I've got wood pieces in there, as well as rotting wood and bark and magnolia leaves. The humidity is admittedly a little on the higher side, depending on where you measure(some areas it's 90, some it's 70, so there is a gradient) but eventually I'm going to be putting a tropical species in here so it was built with humidity in mind. Temp has been inbetween 70-80
Last week, I added some springtails and isopods, P Scaber to be specific. I know the big thing with isopods and springtails is you won't see them a lot, but besides the day after I put them in I haven't seen them at ALL. I've put a couple veggies in there over the week(swapping when things go bad) and haven't even seen them. and I just want to know like, have I messed up somewhere or is it just them getting established in the terrarium?
