My dog is scared of text message notifications
My phone has been on silent for years. Anyone that comes over has to put their phone on silent.
I can’t watch any movies or tv shows where you can hear texting, or receiving messages. Typing sounds on the phone are a big no no.
Facebook messenger ding is the worst.
If he hears it, he will get up, try to leave the room, or climb on top of me. If he could get inside of my skin, he would.
Even if he’s in deep sleep, a ding will wake him up, and he will leave the room, and stand in the hallway.
Nothing else triggers him like this.
I’ve had him for 11 years and for the love of me, I can’t figure out what could have caused this. He’s a 85 lbs Turkish Akbash and staffie mix. I tell him all the time his Akbash ancestors used to fight bears, and he is shaking in my lap because someone received a text.
Does anyone else’s dog have random triggers like this?
