I'm about to start a large backyard orchard (~600 square metres) and thinking of keeping the fruit trees small to have lots of variety.

Wondering, has anyone already used the "Grow a little fruit tree" method to keep their fruit trees small? I see lots of people starting their gardens this way and lots of youtube videos extolling the method, but no 1 year update, 2 year update etc. Is it actually viable? Would love to hear your experiences
