My collection (dutchie cooking adventures)

In the kitchen i have a shelf that is getting too small. Most of the time 2 or 3 books are wandering around the house accompanied with library cookbooks.

In my home office I have most of the magazines, some older huishoudschool cookbooks (1920's, 1950's and one from the 1970's that was my moms) and a few of the "might get rid of them".

Most recent addition is "Japan", if anyone has any recommendations for that one to make a meal for 2 I would love to hear because I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of recipes.

Dutchie cookingadventures - hoarder binder edition.

Normal books:

Curried Udon Noodles - The Nutmeg Trail - Eleanor Ford.

Nice, easy and will make again. Switched the noodles because I forgot to buy Udon noodles.

Chocolate Tahin buns - Buns - Louise Hurst

Just jum. Everything from this book as so far been good to very good!

Sticky zucchini on flatbread - Anna Jones - One, Pot, Pan, Planet

It's one of our staples for when we are drowning with zuchinni's. Somehow I messed up the flatbread this time but it was still good.

Violet syrup - Mari Maris - Maison Mari

Haven't really used it yet but I like the color :)

Binder:

Every saturday we have a magazine with a recipe column which I rip out and put in a binder to not look to it anymore. I picked one of the binders to finally do some cooking.

Yvette van Boven - Halloumi, bulgur, fennel salad with rhubarb compote

Made this one for lunch for 4 days. The rhubarb compote is very funky. The salad itself missed something put I don't know what. Maybe I should have drowned it in more compote.

Yvette van Boven - Lentil salad with asparagus and buratta

Nice one to get rid of the leftover asparagus.

Yvette van Boven - Rosti with caesary salad

Okay I lied a bit about never looking in the binder. This one is sort of a staple. It has the steps to make the mayonaise yourself but this time I was lazy and grabbed the caesar dressing from the fridge.
