NSV: Bought the Form-Fitting Dress

My first NSV: I have thankfully been in the body positive instagram algorithm lately and have been seeing lots of posts from mid-size and plus-size women looking incredibly good in body-hugging dresses.
At my current weight, and especially my starting weight, I NEVER would have considered even trying on a dress like I’m wearing here. But seeing all these posts of sexy beautiful rocking curvy bodies lately made me go for it - that’s a HUGE mental win for me that I even TRIED it.
And tbh? I was expecting hate it. But I don’t! I actually think it looks good and for the first time I don’t feel like my body is disgusting. And that this XL dress fits me?! I’m a size 14?!

also, I want to give a huge shoutout to my partner (who says I’m sexy and beautiful no matter my weight)… I wasn’t sure about the dress but when I walked out and showed him, he went WOW DAMN YOU LOOK AMAZING 🥲 Fuck my insecurities when I have a man that lifts me up like that
