To the guy who screamed at me while I was at work yesterday about homeless people…
There were a few homeless people sitting outside of our store—a man, woman, and a dog. The woman came in and asked to charge her phone, looking so defeated and like she might pass out. I said she could and gave her some cold water.
MY BOSS aka NOT ME said she couldn’t sit in our walkway and charge her phone. She then bought a few things and sat outside. We brought out more water and snacks for them.
MY BOSS said they unfortunately couldn’t stay in front of our door because the man was nodding off, the woman was slurring her words and stumbling around, and the dog kept growling at people as they walked into our store.
She told them they would need to leave after the storm or she would have to call the non emergency line. They did not, and MY BOSS called the police.
YOU, like some kind of psycho, came into our store and screamed at the first employee you saw—ME! You called me a horrible person, and I just want you to know that it was extremely embarrassing and scary.
I have PTSD and severe anxiety. I helped those people the best I could. You screamed at a cashier for something upper management was responsible for. And while I did have to keep checking to make sure they moved, I am not the one who made that call.
Don’t scream at random cashiers.
