I have been looking into flood insurance quotes for a new home I have in Dare Co. NC. The property is in flood zones AE and X. Most quotes are coming in around $15K/yr. But a company called Flood Smart Insurance, Inc. out of Washington State is quoting me $1,800 per year for the same coverage of 900K replacement with 50K in contents. Is there a catch to this company? Maybe some fine print that I may be missing? Things that seem too good to be true usually are so what do you guys know about this company?
