Bike/Scooter/Stroller Valet experience

Bike/Scooter/Stroller Valet experience

Had a great experience biking to the match and using the free bike valet, located by the southeast corner of the stadium on one of the training fields.

There are 2 staff watching the bikes for the entire match and they check gear in and out like luggage, with a numbered tag placed on each bike, and a tag given to you to claim it. No lock needed. Scooters and strollers accepted too. Gave me complete peace of mind about leaving my bike there.

I'm impressed with Summit FC for setting this up despite being in a suburban industrial location not known for being bike friendly. Also impressed with the number of other bikes we saw, but not surprised given all the bikes we saw for the big match at Mile High. Bike culture is strong here!

We took the E line to Dry Creek station and biked ~3.5 miles to the stadium. Our route was: ped bridge -> Inverness Main St/Dr E -> Joliet (bike lane) -> Easter (sidewalk) -> Revere/Tucson (bike lane) -> Fremont -> Potomac.

It was an OK route and we didn't feel unsafe. Easter was the least pleasant section due to speed/volume of traffic, but we were fine on the sidewalk; just watch out for that dirt patch driveway just west of Peoria and be careful at intersections. After the match, drivers (who were all summit fans) gave us plenty of space on Tucson/Revere which we appreciated.
