Hi everyone, my wife and I recently took my son home after a little over a month in the NICU. He was born at 32 weeks and has been doing great. We received the bill from insurance and they are saying that all of his care was out of network and they have us on the hook for $80,000 which we most definitely don’t have the money for. I don’t understand how this is possible as all of my wife’s deliver costs were in network and everything else we have had done at this hospital has been in network. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
