Hi everyone, hoping someone has been through something similar.

Here's the full story:

• I had a non-payable fine with black points in Abu Dhabi
• Because of this, I couldn't renew my driving license (Dubai)
• With an expired license, my residence visa eventually got canceled (separate issue, but it made things worse)

 

I now have a new residence visa and want to sort everything out. When I looked into it, I found out my traffic file was never linked  which is why I couldn't do anything before. (TAMM/RTA apps)

I went to ADNOC Vehicle Licensing (Al samha) to merge the files. They merged them, but said they can't transfer the black points because my license is expired. I tried MOI also same.

So I'm stuck in a loop:

• Can't transfer black points → license is expired
• Can't renew license → unresolved fine/black points

Any advice is appreciated 🙏
