I’m not a Twinkle Twinkle collector but I didn’t want my points to expire and actually needed a new travel pillow.

It’s a lot bigger than I thought (in plush form) and a bit tricky to fold itself into the neck pillow but all in all, pretty rad for a free gift! I think I like it as a plushie more though.

Here’s the evolution from plushie to pillow (with a bonus Labubu for scale).

This was my second time seeing a Labubu second hand out here in Japan (mind you, I live in a rural area). The first time was BIE (Happiness) that was in near mint condition but missing box and bag for ¥1600 (about $10-12 USD) so I passed (I already have 2 of Happiness!).

But today I saw a BIE Love for ¥600 BUT the whole store was half off so I got her for ¥300 ($2 USD). I could tell right off the hop that she was legit but I scanned her anyways, and I was the first! She’s a bit a scruffy and missing a lot of nose paint but so am I so who am I to complain 😂

I’ve never machine washed a Labubu before but figured she’d make a good guinea pig. I put her in one of those fancy laundry bags and used cold water on a gentle cycle. She came out lovely! And smells a bit like a Mokoko too bc I found a white tea laundry detergent that smells just like my hair salon Mokoko.

Once she’s dry and spiffed up a bit I’ll comment again with an “after” pic. Either way, I’m pleased! Hooray for adopted Labubus!

Whoa! Was in Pop Mart in Osaka today and these just dropped?! I bought a whole (sealed) case of four 🫣

The cases/bags are SUPER nice and very high quality. Especially since they have a pocket and are fabric on the back.

I was bummed about Japan not getting the Hair Salon bags but these are even cuter imo so I’m very happy.

Has anyone else had a chance to see these? They’re also on Whoopea but at more than double the price (¥4200 each on Whoopea vs ¥1815 each in store)

I’m a Labubu girl but this month’s Bday gift was Dimoo so I guess I’m collecting Dimoo now too 😂

The first pic is of my free bday gifts (magnet and blind box) and the second and third pics are of the open blind box and a couple things I bought. You only need to order one thing to get the bday gift but I couldn’t decide between the Japan pendant and plush pendant 😅.

So yay! I’m happy.

It was a mighty wait but she was worth it. And I can’t wait to get her siblings, too. Captain is at the airport in China and the sailor is on a flight on her way to Japan now so hopefully they’ll all be together soon. And for now… wow. I’m in awe. She smells beautiful too, like jasmine? She feels like a luxury Labubu and I guess she is since she’s Mokoko ☺️

I just got a Pop Now order from Pop Mart Japan (local, direct from the official Pop Mart app!) with some duplicate Happiness and Luck bubu’s (yes! I wanted doubles!).

The tags are slightly different so I know they came from different factories originally (even though they shipped together as one package from the same warehouse) and wow! Total differences.

Luck (I named her Plum) is perfect - nice proportions, a nice long pop mart hanging tag all that good stuff. My poor Happiness (I named her Peaches) is a hot mess in the cutest way. There was stuffing coming out of her head, stitching coming out of her ears, her ears and hanging tag are so short (can’t even see the S in The Monsters) and her face - oh - her face is SO orange 🫣🤭 like my girl’s been hitting the self-tan and blush too hard. But she’s ready for summer I guess 😂

If I saw her in the wild (especially next to any of my other Labubu’s) I’d totally think she was a fufu. A ridiculously cute fufu, but a fufu. Ah well. Her and I know she’s real 😝
