Something was watching us from the Hill

It was a full moon around 10:46 PM. I was 13 at the time, and my friends and I were hanging out near a hill in our barangay, singing, joking around, and just being loud in the dark.
Out of nowhere, we noticed a tall humanoid figure standing near the creek at the bottom of the hill. It wasn't moving—just standing there, facing us. The way it stared in our direction almost felt like it was trying to scare us away or silence us, as if we were disturbing something.
At first, I assumed it was just someone who had come down from the mountain. But then I realized something was off. This thing looked around 6'5" tall, with a lean, hairy build. Its feet looked almost like it was wearing boots, but I couldn't make out any details. I couldn't see its face at all. The entire body looked like a dark silhouette or outline against the night.
I even rubbed my eyes because I thought maybe I was seeing things. Then I looked at my friends and asked if they were seeing the same thing. One of them was so shocked by what he saw that he looked like he was about to faint.
The moment we realized we were all seeing the same figure,we ran and never came back to investigate,and to this day we have never came back to that spot again.
I'm not claiming it was anything supernatural, but I've never been able to explain what we saw that night.
