Is Rock and Metal really dying

Lately I’ve been wondering whether rock and metal culture is actually fading away or just evolving into something different.

It feels like these genres aren’t as dominant in mainstream music anymore compared to older generations, but at the same time there are still passionate fanbases, underground scenes, festivals, and younger bands keeping it alive.

Do you think rock and metal are slowly dying culturally, or have they just become more niche in today’s internet era? I’d genuinely love to hear different perspectives from people who grew up with the genre or recently got into it.

Can anyone learn to sing, assuming they’re not tone deaf?

I’m a 23-year-old guy and I’ve always wondered this.
Can most people actually learn singing with enough practice, assuming they’re not tone deaf? Or is there a point where talent matters more than training?
