Taking time on my vacation to start sewing the 6 blocks I was able to cut out so far. Pretty proud of the progress, although I’m hoping that random cutting the text can (vs fussy cutting the direction) blends in to a similar choice in other blocks. I’m holding off doing the border for now just in case I want to redo those on the right side.

This block is everything I want my Anne of Diamonds quilt to be!! I’m so glad I had the bright idea to fussy cut the portraits around her.

This is my 5th block cut and basted, hoping to get 3 more to this stage before I leave for holiday at the end of the week. All 8 will travel with me for stitching!

Not sure why the camera added noise; the lighting was pretty good in this room, but what can you do?
