She the same man three times
My mom told me this story that happened to her when she was a teenager.
She was going to visit her cousin who lived on the 4th floor of an apartment building, no elevator. She starts climbing the stairs, and on the first floor she crosses paths with this guy wearing a black top hat and a long coat with the collar turned all the way up to his chin (you could barely see his face). The guy was heading down.
She keeps going. Second floor, same guy, heading down. She looks at him, keeps moving. Third floor, him again. Exactly the same. She starts freaking out and basically runs the rest of the way up to her cousin’s apartment.
The thing is, my mom is a really rational person, she doesn’t believe in paranormal stuff or glitches in the matrix or any of that. But this story... she’s told it to us (my sisters, my father and I) multiple times, and she still can’t explain it. That day, she was genuinely terrified.
