I just feel like sharing the surprising news, and joining the club.
I’ve been in ER all day. I had several tests and scans to determine the cause of my symptoms. I’ve just been advised that I have diverticulitis with an abscess. They already put me on antibiotics and saline for dehydration.
The specialist physicians will be here soon to discuss options for an overall approach, especially how to deal with abscess. I’ll be admitted to the hospital soon.
This is in addition to my recent diagnosis of gastro esophageal cancer for which I’ve been having chemotherapy for the last 2 months.
I just want to get back on the hiking trails asap.
